Fuck Pencils! I Design with a Mouse!: Happy "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day"!!!

What the Hell...!?!

You may notice the blog title is rather risqué. The reason for the name is due to my teaching a basic graphic design class, during which students would claim they didn't need to learn graphic design techniques because they knew all the ups and downs, ins and outs of Photoshop. They didn't need any pens, pencils, paper, scissors, glue, much less any text that would demonstrate design principles. All they said they needed was a Mac, a mouse, and an internet connection.

Forcing them to only use black and white construction paper and glue, the students learned what it takes to really suffer for their art.
